Man with gunshot wound in Pinetown refuses to give details

The Lassen County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of gunshots and found a man with a wound to his thigh in Pinetown this morning.

PINETOWN, Calif.- Lassen County Sheriff's Office deputies found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his thigh around 2:00 a.m. this morning in the area of Delwood St. at Highway 36.

Dispatch received a call regarding shots fired in the area but when deputies arrived they couldn't find anything suspicious.

Then 20-30 minutes later, the Lassen County Dispatch Center received a call from a man who said he was shot. The man refused to provide further details and hung up. 

Deputies found the victim in the front yard of an address on Parkwood Dr. with a gunshot to his thigh. The victim still refused to give details on the incident, according to the Lassen County Sheriff's Office. 

He was taken to Banner Lassen Hospital and later flown to Renown Medical Center in Reno, NV for treatment.
