Man with 4 felony warrants arrested during traffic stop

Butte County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man who had four felony arrest warrants out when the deputy conducted a stop.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - A man with four felony warrants out for his arrest was arrested Sunday morning during a traffic stop, according to the Butte County Sheriff’s Office.

On Sunday morning at 12:22 a.m., a Butte County Sheriff Deputy stopped a vehicle for a vehicle code violation.

The deputy contacted a passenger in the vehicle who was identified as 32-year-old Alexander Lemire.

Lemire had four felony warrants out for his arrest.

An investigation revealed that Lemire was in possession of 17 grams of meth, 5.95 ounces of marijuana, a burglary tool, drug paraphernalia and ammunition.

Lemire was arrested and booked into the Butte County Jail for his warrants and several other charges.
