Man arrested for firearm brandishing suspected of murder in Yuba County

Yuba County Sheriff Detectives arrested a man Monday evening for brandishing a firearm and connect him to a July homicide.

OLIVEHURST, Calif.- Yuba County Sheriff Detectives arrested an Olivehurst resident on Monday evening, believed to be in connection with a shooting murder in July, for brandishing a firearm. 

Andreas Luis Gonzalez, 18, was arrested after detectives received a call at 2:15 p.m. Monday of a person brandishing a firearm on 7th Ave., according to sheriff's deputies. 

Gonzalez matched the description given by the 911 caller and was arrested and booked into Yuba County Jail for assault with a firearm in addition to homicide for his alleged crime in July.

The shooting in question occurred on July 13 at around 12:45 a.m. at College View Drive and N. Beale Rd. 

The victim Dalen Hall, 23, of Olivehurst succumbed to their injuries days later. 

Gonzalez's bail is set at $1 million.
