ORLAND, Calif. - A man is facing multiple charges after officials found 545 marijuana plants at three separate locations in rural Orland, according to Glenn County Sheriff’s Office.

On Thursday, Glenn County Investigations and Narcotics Task Force did marijuana compliance operations at three illegal grow sites in rural Orland, officials said.

There were three illegal grow sites at separate addresses but within a few miles of each other on County Rd. 8, west of the City of Orland.

Three separate search warrants were issued and officials found 545 marijuana plants, 145 pounds of processed marijuana and two ounces of concentrated cannabis.

A Butane Honey Oil (BHO) lab was also located at one of the addresses and officials arrested 28-year-old Vidal Chavez Jr. of Orland.

Chavez is facing a charge for the cultivation of marijuana for sale, operating a BHO lab and child endangerment.
