WILLOWS, Calif. - On Monday at 5:46 p.m., the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office received several various reports of shots fired around the Culver Street and Willow Street area.
According to witnesses, a man appeared from the alley on the 200 Block of Culver Street with a shotgun. The suspect fired three to five rounds across Culver Street at two men in front of an apartment complex; then, he ran away.
Vehicles and a residence window were hit with pellets from the shotgun. One of the targets was also hit with a pellet but received a non-life-threatening injury.
By the time deputies arrived, the suspect had escaped the area. Witnesses described the suspect as a bald, Caucasian, or Hispanic male adult, with a neck tattoo wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
