SALINAS, Calif. - Salinas police are searching for a suspect caught on video licking a family's doorbell.

A security camera captured the incident and notified the owners, who were out of town at the time.

Authorities say that the man spent three hours licking the doorbell and milling around the family's yard.

The security footage helped police to identify the suspect, but they have not yet found the man they believe is responsible.
