SISKIYOU COUNTY, Calif. - A man is behind bars for trying to hijack a moving train in Siskiyou County.

The Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office says Dylan Baldini jumped on board an Amtrack train going from Mount Shasta to Dunsmuir. Deputies say Baldini was drunk, hostile and shirtless.

The train crew kept their distance, fearing for their safety.

They say Baldini repeatedly activated the train whistle and tried to put the train in emergency stop mode.

Crews said the situation put everyone on board in danger.

Another mostly sunny and hot day for northern California today, quite similar to yesterday. Our weather will begin to change tomorrow, however, as a disturbance brings more clouds, cooler air, and a few showers and thunderstorms.
