Magalia Man Becomes First Camp Fire Looter to be Sentenced

A Magalia man is now the first Camp Fire looter to be sentenced.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - A Magalia man is now the first Camp Fire looter to be sentenced.

Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey says Shayne Tinnel, 22, of Magalia, will serve three years behind bars for stealing an RV from a Magalia home during the Camp Fire evacuations. 

Tinnel was also ordered to pay $2,736 in restitution to the victim for damage to the RV.
