Long-time Chico radio host unexpectedly passed away

Mike Manley, the voice of Manley in the Morning on Mix 95.1, passed away Wednesday night.

CHICO, Calif. - A long-time Chico radio host unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday night, according to Deer Creek Broadcasting.

Mike Manley of the Manley in the Morning on Mix 95.1 passed away at 58 years old.

Manley worked in Chico for nearly 25 years as he was a staple on local morning shows.

He started with 103.5 The Blaze in 1997 but was mostly recognized for his morning show on Mix 95.1.

Manley brought a sense of humor and easy-going on-air delivery.

He volunteered thousands of hours to serve the Chico community.
