Logging truck driver dead after rollover near Rodgers Cow Camp

CHP confirmed that a person is dead after a logging truck rollover near Rodgers Cow Camp.

PLUMAS COUNTY, Calif.- California Highway Patrol confirmed a person died in a logging truck crash on Quincy Highway and Valley Rd. in the Rodgers Cow Camp area Tuesday. 

At 12:33 p.m. CHP received calls of a logging truck that took a curve too fast, overturned and went over the embankment. 

The road is not closed for traffic and nobody else was involved in the crash. 

The identity of the driver will be revealed once contact with the next of kin is made.
