CHICO, Calif. – Folks showed their appreciation and love to Chief Mike O'Brien and Chico Police Officers Tuesday by forming a parade - while following social distancing guidelines.

Chico community members came together for the parade to show Chief O'Brien their support for the challenging job of policing the city during these tough times.

People decorated their cars and armed themselves with bells and whistles. The cars lined up at 4:15 p.m. on Fair Street and then headed to City Hall for the surprise.
