Local community swarmed by law enforcement

Several Chico Police and Butte County Sheriff's patrol cars responded to Jasper Drive on Sunday evening in Chico.

CHICO, Calif. - Action News Now is working to find out what happened in Chico on Sunday when law enforcement swarmed a local community.

Several patrol cars from Chico Police Department and the Butte County Sheriff's Office were responding to Jasper Drive around 5 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

Deputies on the scene would not comment on what happened, but neighbors in the area told Action News Now that they think it was the end to a high-speed chase.

Action News Now learned that one person was transported to the hospital.
