OROVILLE, Calif. – It’s Friday and if you’re looking to make weekend plans, Lake Oroville Recreation State Park is open for limited usage.
California State Parks are phasing in reopening its parks and beaches.
Currently, the Oroville recreation area is open for day-use vehicle access, including parking lots, boat launches, and trails.
Come Monday, Bidwell Canyon and Lake Oroville marinas will be open. Until then, the vessel fueling, pump-out and shuttle services remain closed.
Park representatives are reminding everyone to still take precautions and practice social distancing. Throughout the state park system, campgrounds, museums and visitors centers are still closed.
