REDDING, Calif. – A long-time favorite event in the North State is the latest to fall by the wayside. There will no Kool April Nites for 2021.
Organizers announced the event is cancelled due to "the current state of uncertainty." This includes the Big Show, the Friday cruise, and all associated events.
The board stressed this is not the end of Kool April Nites. In a Facebook post, the board said, “This event is so very important to our local economy, youth programs, and car enthusiasts alike.” They added, “The board of directors is meeting on a regular basis to keep the future of Kool April Nites alive.”
The changing situation will be monitored for possible rescheduling and other events.
Those who have already registered, will be contacted by someone. The board added, they do not have the staff to answer phone calls or emails at this time. As more information becomes available, the board says it will issue press releases and social media posts.
