The CSU, Chico club called "Embodied: Living the Health at Every Size Way" is presenting a series of events on campus this week to mark National Eating Disorders Awareness Week.

On Tuesday, February 27th is The Recovery Path: Stories of Hope and Healing. It's an eating disorder panel discussion and will include honest, often heartbreaking, personal stories from those who have experienced or have loved ones who have experienced eating disorders. The discussion takes place from 7 - 8:15 p.m. in Siskiyou Hall room 120.

Wednesday February 29th at 7 p.m. is the showing of the film "Embrace", with a discussion afterword. That's happening at UHUB, the Sutter Courtyard ... which  is a common space at University Housing on campus.

Thursday March 1st will feature a presentation from Keynote Speaker Traci Haynes, RDN on "RISE: A Creative Path to Respect, Acceptance and Empowerment".  It's from 6 - 7:15 p.m. in Colusa Hall, room 100 B.

All events are free and open to the public. For more information contact mrmorris@csuchico.edu, call (530) 898-4757 or visit www.facebook.com/groups/CSUCHAES.

The first weekend of autumn was pleasant for northern California, but our relatively tranquil weather will change soon. A Pacific storm is approaching the West Coast, and it will bring our area rain showers and gusty wind soon.
