Investigators searching for driver seen near vegetation fire in Redding

A 4-door, late 1990’s or early 2000’s lite blue Ford Taurus was seen driving away from the location of a Thursday vegetation fire, according to Investigators.

Authorities are searching for a driver seen leaving the scene of a small vegetation fire behind Enterprise Park in Redding.

REDDING, Calf. – Authorities are searching for a driver seen leaving the scene of a small vegetation fire behind Enterprise Park in Redding.

The Redding Fire Department responded to the fire behind Enterprise Park around 10 a.m. Thursday. The fire burned a 10 foot by 15-foot spot of vegetation. Firefighters were able to quickly contain it and no injuries were reported.

Redding fire investigators said they saw a driver leaving the scene of the fire. Investigators are searching for a 4-door, late 1990’s or early 2000’s lite blue Ford Taurus.

Anyone with information on the vehicle’s whereabouts or the owner of the vehicle is asked to contact the Redding Fire Department.
