ORLAND, Calif. – Investigators arrested seven people Wednesday after discovering a honey oil lab in an Orland warehouse.
Members of the Glenn Investigations and Narcotics Task Force said they executed a marijuana-related search warrant at 6480 C/R 27 in Orland.
During the operation, investigators located a closed-loop butane honey oil laboratory. The lab was located in one of two warehouse buildings on the property.
Authorities said they seized ten pounds of honey oil or concentrated cannabis, 9,008 pounds of processed marijuana, seven firearms, and nearly $25,000 In cash in the warehouse.
Aiden Edwards, Cholena Ross, Carlos Gardea, Robin Kellerstrass, Jerrud Edwards, Betty Sue Edwards, Randal Edwards, were all arrested and booked into the Glenn County Jail on marijuana-related charges, according to authorities. The case is now being forwarded to the Glenn County District Attorney’s office for prosecution.
The California Department of Toxic Substance Control also assisted with the disposal of the toxic chemicals used in the Honey Oil Lab.
