Educators from around the world are in Chico, to learn.

As part of the Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program, Chico State is hosting teachers from Latin America, India, Africa and Asia.

During their time here they'll get a better understanding of the educational system in our country.

Parks says, "It's a professional development for them to learn new strategies, techniques and teaching English as a foreign language."

The international educators teach at middle school, high school and universities in their respective countries.

They'll be spending time at Hamilton City, Las Plumas, Oroville and Paradise High Schools.
