GLENDALE, Calif. - It’s been more than a month since “IHOP” changed its named to “IHOB” to make room for its new burgers on the diner menu, but now they’re going back to its original name.

The national diner tweeted on Monday that they will reverse the name change decision and announced a celebratory date for the restaurant.

“IHOP,” says the celebratory date is July 17, when they will offer a stack of pancakes for just 60 cents, in honor of the restaurant's 60th birthday.

The tweet from “IHOP” also poked fun of itself for changing to “IHOB,” saying “That’s right, IHOP! We’d never turn our back on pancakes (except for that time we faked it to promote our new burgers)”

The July 17 event will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
