Humpback Whale washed up at Point Reyes

A necropsy is being performed today on a whale that washed up at Point Reyes.

A necropsy is being performed today on a whale that washed up at Point Reyes.

Chopper 5 flew over the scene today, take a look as marine biologists were out taking samples from the whale.

It washed up on the shore of north beach on Christmas Eve.

Biologists say it's a 30 foot long humpback whale.
