House Explosion in Texas Caught on Police Dash Cam

An amazing house explosion in Texas is caught on police dash cam.

Hurst, Texas-- An amazing house explosion in Texas is caught on police dash cam.

Police in Hurst have released the dashcam video showing the explosion after a vehicle crashed into the home and struck a gas line.

The driver of a truck lost control, slammed into the side of a home and hit the gas line. Two officers were responding to the crash when the home exploded. They suffered minor injuries.

A family of three was inside the home at the time

A woman suffered burns to nearly half her body. Her husband was burned trying to help his wife out of the house. They remain in the hospital.

Their 30-year old son was in the back of the house when the car crashed. He also suffered injuries trying to help in the rescue. He has since been released from the hospital.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured, he was arrested for traffic offenses.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
