High temperatures cancel Chico’s Thursday Night Market, Friday Night Concert

The Thursday Night Market will be canceled due to the excessive heat warning as organizers said the market will return next week.

CHICO, Calif. - The Thursday Night Market in downtown Chico is canceled for Thursday, organizers said.

Due to the excessive heat warning, organizers decided to cancel this week’s Thursday Night Market.

The market will return next Thursday, June 24.

Any of the booth fees will roll over to next week and there will be a make-up market on Sept. 23.

The Friday Night Concert will also be canceled and will be rescheduled for Sept. 24
