High schools along the ridge prepare for ‘Every 15 minutes’

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif - Paradise High School and Ridgeview High School are setting up for their “Every 15 minutes” program this upcoming Tuesday.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif - Paradise High School and Ridgeview High School are setting up for their “Every 15 minutes” program this upcoming Tuesday.

The “Every 15 minutes” program is a coordinated event that allows students to think twice about drinking and driving while adding visuals such as a mock two-car fatal collision scene.

The two-day program will be aided by:

• California Highway Patrol – Chico
• Butte County EMS
• Butte County Cal Fire
• Paradise Police Department
• Rose Chapel
• Sinclair’s Towing
• Skyway Towing

• Feather River Hospital

Paradise High School will commence their program at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday (5911 Maxwell Dr.) while Ridgeview High School will be on the same day at 9:25 a.m. (13665 Skyway).
