Helicopter rescue simulation at Chico State

The Butte County Sheriff's Office along with employees from Enloe Medical Center hosted a helicopter simulation at Chico State.

The Butte County Sheriff's Office along with employees from Enloe Medical Center hosted a helicopter simulation at Chico State, Saturday.

The event started at 9 a.m. and three helicopters were present to simulate a natural disaster situation. 

It was a practice drill in case a disaster occurs in Butte County where access to an exit is cut off. 

The Butte County Sheriff's Office Rescue team is independently funded and relies on funding to carry on their duties.
