Suspect arrested in Willows murder case

A suspect was quickly identified and arrested Saturday after an early morning murder in Willows.

UPDATE 1:20 p.m. - The victim of a murder in Willows that occurred on Saturday morning, July 25, 2020, has been identified as 46-year-old Jessica Enea of Willows.

A neighbor had called authorities when they discovered a woman inside her residence with "severe trauma" to her body. Responders attempted to revive Enea, but she died at the scene.

Investigators with the Glenn County Sheriff's Office Investigative Task Force located a suspect in the area. They arrested 18-year-old Anthony Francis Jr. on murder charges on Saturday morning.
