Heavy Chico police response to juvenile fight

Chico police responded with a large team to a physical altercation near West Sacramento Ave. Tuesday morning.

CHICO, Calif. - Police responded to a physical altercation at an apartment complex on Columbus Ave. near West Sacramento Ave., police said.

Police got the call around 8 a.m. with a large response team when dispatch heard a gun and knife may have been involved. No weapons were found at the scene.

Four people were involved and two juveniles were arrested and are facing battery charges.

Police said everyone involved in the fight was cooperative when they arrived.

There were minor injuries and no officers were hurt.
