BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - A 58-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) early Saturday afternoon on Oro Bangor Highway east of Ve Avenue after his Harley Davidson Fatboy motorcycle crashed into a ditch, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

Gary Lee Seek, of Oroville, received major injuries from the crash, according to the CHP. Officers said he was taken to a local hospital with unknown internal injuries.

The CHP said Seek missed a curve in the road and continued straight, eventually driving off of the road into the ditch. They said Seek impacted a wooden fence and continued into a person's yard.

This collision is still under investigation by the CHP.
