Missing Gridley man found

The Gridley Police Department has confirmed that Christopher Ayala has been located safely.

UPDATE: 11:52 a.m. Monday, April 26 - The Gridley Police Department has confirmed that Christopher Ayala has been located safely.

Police said his disappearance was not suspicious.

GRIDLEY, Calif. - The Gridley Police Department has confirmed that a missing person report has been filed on a local resident.

A family member of the missing man said she is worried after her husband did not return home. She said he is under medical treatment and needs to take his medication daily.

Tina McDonald, the wife of the missing man, said her husband, Christopher Ayala, was last seen at 2:30 Sunday morning (Apr. 25, 2021) getting into a black sedan in the Safeway parking lot.

She describes Ayala as being a bald man with brown eyes. He is six feet tall and weighs 230 pounds. She said he was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt that says, "Guardian Angels" on the sleeves.
