Sheriff Kory Honea to Head-up Gridley Christmas Parade

The Family friendly event kicks off at 5 p.m.

GRIDLEY, Calif. - The Gridley Winter Wonderland Festival and Parade of Lights takes place Wednesday, Dec. 5 in Downtown Gridley.

Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea will be the Parade Grand Marshal.

A Street Fair on Hazel Street with lots of vendors and food kicks off at 5 p.m., followed by the Community Christmas Tree Lighting at 5:30 p.m. at Orchard Hospital at 240 Spruce Street. The Parade of Lights begins at 6 p.m. on Hazel Street, with the festivities continuing after the parade.

There will be train rides for children and photos with Santa at the Gridley Museum and the band "Hillcrest Avenue" will perform live music.
