REDDING, Calif. - Grammy-winning, two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Graham Nash performed for Carr Fire victims on Wednesday night at the Cascade Theatre.

In addition to performing, he also donated his $15,000 booking fee to the Shasta Regional Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund and purchased an additional 5,000 to be distributed to victims.

Nash said he was on tour when he saw news of the Carr Fire on TV and felt compelled to do something to help.

"I saw what the fires were doing," Nash said. "I saw 1,100 homes destroyed. I saw people in incredible pain and chaos and not knowing what to do now. And I realized that I was going to be playing for these people in about a month and a half.

We're closing out the month of November in a pleasant way in northern California Tuesday. We'll have some gusty wind tonight and early Wednesday, but December will begin with warmer and drier than average weather.
