CALIFORNIA - At a press conference on Thursday, Governor Newsom shared his frustration about the PG&E blackouts across the state.

"I must confess, it is infuriating beyond words to live in a state as innovative and extraordinarily entrepreneurial and capable as the state of California to be living in an environment where we are seeing this kind of disruption in these kinds of blackouts," said Newsom.

The shutoff aims to prevent wildfires that could be caused by high winds downing live power equipment.

We've had a mostly sunny valley with a few more clouds over the mountains today, but it's been another beautiful day with warmer highs than yesterday. Much warmer weather is headed our way this weekend... enjoy, but stay cool!
