Glenn County Sheriff Arrests Drug Felon

According to the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office they arrested a career criminal during the early morning hours of May 8th.

Glenn County, Calif.—According to the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office they arrested a career criminal during the early morning hours of May 8th.

Deputy Ramirez conducted a records check on Juan Medina, age 30 and discovered Medina had several active warrants for his arrest out of Glenn County.

During the arrest, Deputy Ramirez found several plastic baggies of suspected methamphetamine and suspected heroin on Medina.

Medina was taken into custody and booked into the Glenn County Jail on warrants and fresh narcotic charges.

The case was then forwarded to the Glenn County Inter-Agency Narcotics Task Force (GLINTF) for a follow-up investigation.

GLINTF agents authored a search warrant for Medina’s property on Green Street in Willows.

GLINTF agents, along with Glenn County Sheriff’s Deputies, and Deputy Probation Officers from the Glenn County Probation Office served the search warrant.

During the search warrant they located approximately a quarter pound of methamphetamines, four pounds of marijuana, packaging materials and scales, ammunition, and narcotics paraphernalia.

The case was sent to the Glenn County District Attorney’s Office for possession of methamphetamines for sale, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a residence for narcotics trafficking and use, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of a controlled substance, committing a felony offense while out on bail, and possession of marijuana for sale charges.

According to the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office, Juan Medina is a career criminal who has been arrested in Glenn County in the past year five different times for crimes involving firearms, theft, and narcotics.
