Orland, Calif.--"This year there's a lot of people worried about not making weight... you gotta get your pig here, you have to wash it, brush it make sure it looks nice," said Meaghan Weinrich.
It's the biggest community event in Glenn County.
"Fair time is always a fun time, there's stress in there but it's fun at the end," said Hanna Parisio.
Hundreds of kids are showing off months of hard work -they've raised pigs, cow, sheep, lambs - now, they're hoping to cash in big at the auction.
One competitor says if you're new to FFA, raising rabbits is a good place to start.
"If you want to start with something light and learn something easy to do, you only have them for 30 days so it's not so much work but you still have to take care of them and water and feed them every day," said Parisio.
The Glenn County Fair kicks off with a Vintage Tractor Pull Thursday night. Then Boat racing, a destruction derby, you can even race your own truck through mud pits and jumps.
