CHICO, Calif. - Sunday Oct. 17, 2020 is the last night to join Slow Theatre for an underground political rally, with monologues, musical performances, and comedy centered around the theme "Freedom of Speech." It is staged in an impromput drive-in theatre created at 101 Rose Avenue in Chico.

The socially distanced drive-in movie screening will start at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 per car and will benefit Slow Theatre. Audio will be available through your vehicle's FM radio. Seating is extremely limited. Filmed segments of the event will be projected on a 20x30ft screen, and live, safely distanced performances will take place on the Garage Fest stage.

The theme for this year's Garage Fest is "Freedom of Speech." Attendees can participate in an underground political-rally style production with creative commentary on today's most pressing political issues and current events. Monologues, musical performances, and comedy are all featured. This production is a combination of film and live performances, and ONLY drive-in attendees will have access to both the filmed and live portions of the production.

Organizer said they will make filmed segments of Garage Fest 2020 available sometime after the live event on their Facebook page.
