CHICO, Calif. – Chico State students can now take one free online course each semester. The goal is to help them graduate faster.

The new CSU Fully Online program makes it possible for students to take courses offered from any of the 23 campuses in the California State University system.

This would allow students to take courses they need in order to graduate, even if those courses are not being offered on their campus during the current semester.

This announcement is part of CSU’s Graduation Initiative 2025. The initiative seeks to increase the graduation rates of CSU students, while also opening up more opportunities.

Aside from the haze and smoke, we've had beautiful weather in northern California today, and it will be just as nice tomorrow. A storm is coming our way, however, and we'll have very unsettled weather this weekend.
