CHICO, Calif. - A free walk-in flu vaccine clinic is provided by Enloe Medical Center and Butte County Public Health Wednesday, according to the Enloe Medical Center.

The flu vaccine is available for adults and children ages three and older.

Enloe’s Vaccination Mobile Team will also provide the COVID-19 vaccine at the flu clinic.

The vaccine clinic is at the Chico Elks Lodge at 1705 Manzanita Ave. It began at 7:30 a.m. and will close at 11 a.m. It will then reopen at 2 p.m. until it closes at 6 p.m.

People who go to get the vaccine should wear a mask and wear clothing that allows vaccination to the upper arm.

There will be a free drive-thru flu vaccine clinic at Butte College’s Chico Center at 2320 Forest Ave. on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., while supplies last.

The vaccines are given on a first-come, first-serve basis and cover four common flu strains.

The fog tucked us in last night, leaving for some surreal driving conditions on the roads. We see the potential for a repeat situation this evening for the valley.
