PALERMO, Calif. - Five people have been arrested in connection with a shooting at a home in Palermo.
Butte County Sheriff's Officials say the two-week investigation began when Jacob Gaede fired the weapon that sent four bullets into the home with one of the bullets entering a child's bedroom.
With no injuries reported, Detectives say the gun used in the shooting was stolen in a Berry Creek burglary.
In a search of three homes, officials located stolen guns and other property.
Gaede and four others are in custody and more arrests are expected.
