First dose vaccine clinics available in Butte County to eligible residents

First dose COVID-19 vaccination appointments are now available in Butte County to those who are eligible.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. – First dose COVID-19 vaccination appointments are now available in Butte County to those who are eligible.

The vaccination clinics will be held at the Oroville Sports Club on March 4 and 5. As well as at Meriam Park from March 8 through March 11. To be eligible, you must be a Butte County resident that is 65 or older - or an agriculture and food worker.

The community clinic at the Oroville Sports Club at 2600 Oro Dam Blvd., is by appointment only and proof of residency is required. Click here to schedule your vaccination for this clinic or call the Oroville Hospital at 530-538-3379.

To schedule your vaccination for the first dose community clinics at Meriam Park, click here or call the Vaccine Scheduling Hotline at 552-3020. For residents without internet, you may call the Vaccine Scheduling Hotline for assistance.

BCPH said calling the hotline will not book your appointment faster. The hotline's hours of operation are Thursday, March 4, and Friday, March 5, both from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
