Firefighters respond to 2-acre brush fire near Red Bluff

Firefighters are working to extinguish a 2-acre brush fire near Red Bluff.

RED BLUFF, Calif. - Firefighters are working to extinguish a 2-acre brush fire near Red Bluff. 

CAL FIRE's Tehama County unit is at the scene of the fire, which broke out Friday afternoon on Red Bank Road. 

There are two water tankers and a helicopter working to extinguish the fire. 

Fire officials said that all forward progress has stopped.
