REDDING, Calif. - Redding firefighters were on the scene of a late-night house fire Tuesday.
Flames broke out initially in the chimney of the house, according to the Redding Fire Department.
Fire crews were quickly able to contain the flames.
The call came in just after 11 Tuesday night.
It happened near the 2100 block of Branstetter Lane in Redding.
Firefighters say no one was hurt but the home now has thousands of dollars in damages.
