CORNING, Calif. - One home was destroyed by a fire in south Corning that broke out around 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
The 3-acre fire broke out in the area of Highway 99 west and Capay road. The fire is fully contained, according to CAL FIRE Tehama-Glenn Unit.
Firefighters from Tehama county and Orland worked together to control the fire in under an hour.
There are no reports of injuries, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
