Fire in Oroville burned an RV, then caught nearby vegetation on fire

A fire in Oroville was quickly contained after an RV caught fire, spreading flames to nearby vegetation.

OROVILLE, Calif. - A fire was been reported in Oroville at Feather Avenue and 18th Street just after 6:00 p.m.

According to CAL FIRE an RV caught fire. Fire then spread to vegetation and burned about a quarter acre.

Crews were able to stop its forward progress quickly. By 6:20 forward progress had stopped.
