Fire destroys a garage in Forbestown

A structure fire has destroyed a garage in Forbestown, luckily no one was injured.

A structure fire has destroyed a garage in Forbestown, luckily no one was injured.

According to Butte County CAL FIRE, this happened before noon on Saturday in the intersection of Cloverleaf Lane and Forbestown Road.

Investigators still don't know what caused the fire and nearby homes were not affected by the blaze.

It took firefighters about 10 minutes to knock down the fire when they arrived.

The homeowners were not displaced as a result of the incident.
