OROVILLE, Calif. – One person was injured Thursday afternoon in an RV fire in Oroville.
The fire happened around 1:30 p.m. at the Lake Oroville Gold Country RV community on Olive Highway, next to the Gold Country Casino, according to Cal Fire.

Cal Fire responded to an RV fire that broke out around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The fire did exposure damage to nearby RV’s. The man injured was inside his RV at the time, he was transported to Oroville Hospital and then airlifted to U.C. Davis Medical Center, Cal Fire told Action News Now.
His wife, who was outside, said she heard a loud boom come from the oven area. She told Action News Now her husband is expected to be okay.
Fire officials said there were two cats inside at the time that are still unaccounted for. Nearby RV's were exposed to the flames but were not heavily damaged.
