FOUND: Plumas County Sheriff's Office searching for missing 'at-risk' woman

UPDATE: The Plumas County Sheriff's Office says the woman who went missing after a walk has been found.

PLUMAS COUNTY, Calif. - The Plumas County Sheriff's Office said 58-year-old Cheryl Johnson has been found safe as of Monday, Nov. 18.

On Sunday the Plumas County Sheriff's Office received a call from Robert Johnson, reporting his wife, Cheryl Johnson was missing.

Cheryl was last seen at their home in Meadow Valley at 11:25 a.m. on Sunday when she told the family she was leaving for a walk but then did not return, deputies said.

Cheryl is described as a 58-year-old female 5’5” 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray “Jimmy Hendrix” t-shirt and gray sweatpants, according to deputies.

Cheryl was entered into the Missing Persons System as a voluntary, at-risk missing adult, due to her medical conditions. Deputies said they have searched the area and are actively searching for Cheryl.
