IGO-ONO, Calif. - A mobile registration van has been set up at the Igo Ono School to help get Zogg Fire survivors on the FEMA disaster relief rolls.
The temporary center provides victims with disaster relief information. Shasta County had representatives at the mobile registration site as well on Saturday. They are providing fire survivors with Right of Entry (ROE) forms so people can get the toxic debris cleared from their properties.
Survivors told Action News Now reporter Ana Torrea that all help getting them back on their feet is greatly appreciated.
"We've received some money from United Way," said Igo resident David Scott. He said it is nice to know that people care.
"We're just trying to follow up on the programs," said Scott. "We have some equipment but we need help through this," he explained.
The Mobile Registration Intake Center (MRIC) will be open Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
