BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - The Federal Emergency Management Agency just announced Monday several ways to get assistance if you're a victim of any of the current local fires.
FEMA Media Representative Troy York says help is here for people who have lost homes, have damaged homes or suffered losses in apartments.
People can contact FEMA by phone: 1-800-621-3362. Fire victims can also apply for help online HERE.
And the third option is to download the FEMA APP. When you open the APP it will direct you on how to register.
This year, wildfires have burned more than 3.2 million acres in California.
