Officials are hoping to immunize 400 people Friday and 800 people each day at future clinics. Enloe's Director of the Emergency department, Prompt Care, and Trauma Services, Judy Cline, said the vaccines are provided by Butte County Public Health.
Later, they will become available to younger populations in accordance with California's vaccination phases and tiers guidelines.
Cline said, "Once officials confirm someone's eligibility and slots become available, community members will get an email notification. She said, "This approach will help us vaccinate the most vulnerable populations first."
When it comes time to receive your vaccine you're asked to arrive no more than 5 minutes early for your appointment, wear a mask, bring a valid photo ID and the required paperwork, and wear clothing that allows immunization to the upper arm.
