Durham Unified School District confirms positive case of Covid-19

Durham High School is switching to distance learning for the next two days.

DURHAM, Calif. – Durham Unified Superintendent, John Bohannon, confirmed with Action News Now that someone in the high school's office tested positive for the coronavirus.

Superintendent Bohannon said several people in the office were working in close contact, so they will have to quarantine. The high school will keep students off-campus and staff at home until test results return.

Bohannon said he expects the high school to return to in-person learning on Monday.
