Very pleasant conditions are ahead for the rest of the week, but we also will be dealing with some impacts over the next several mornings. Frost and fog could be issues for drivers during the morning commute over the next several days. North winds have limited fog development this morning, but we still have the potential for some patchy areas of dense fog early today. Frost is going to be a more widespread problem for drivers in the valley this week. You may want to give yourself a few minutes to scrape your windshield before you head out the door this morning. Temperatures have dipped into the 30's to 40's overnight in the valley, and into the teens to 20's in the mountains this morning. Winds will be out of the North to around 15mph, and skies will be mostly sunny today. High temperatures are projected to top out in the high 50's to mid 60's in the valley this afternoon, and into the 40's to low 50's in the mountains later today.
Fog and frost will continue to be the biggest impacts expected in your forecast over the next several mornings. Skies will stay mostly clear, with occasional cloud cover brushing across Northern California through the weekend. Temperatures will become warmer heading into the end of the week, and will peak in the mid to high 60's in the valley. Mountain areas can expect temperatures to top out in the high 40's to mid 50's later this week. We're expecting to stay dry and warm through your weekend and the start of next week.
